A collaborative platform for research, self-learning and teaching.
The Project
MajeRe want to set-up an interdisciplinary community of motivated learners and researchers by developing a social network software that integrates:
- a free widespread statistical scripting language R
- a flexible graphical user interface (GUI), embedded into a didactical model
- a scalable and structured hierarchical (in terms of educational level) didactic help system
- a open database compiling projects made by learners and scientists
- and different media to develop information in technological strata.
MajeRe software will reinforce cooperation between scientist and schools on diverse levels of education and research, developing self-study materials for students and teacher training using social media, and enhance interdisciplinarity and cooperation between high school, university and self-learners around the world.
