Description:
Our main idea is to develop an academic – business network which would have a great impact on the quality of higher education. In now day dynamic environment, information has become a key resource of success. Education process has undergone through significant changes too. The most important thing for students, and their academic staff, is to keep pace with the time. Proposed network would be based on the communication between business and academic community. Companies role would be keeping employee and skill requirements up to date, while academic community role would be to answer these requirements by modifying its syllabus and enabling students to do the internship in these companies (naturally as a part of their courses). In that manner courses would be more oriented toward projects and developing professional skills. Both students and professors should have more active role in the process of education and they should cooperate more on the projects. We want to change the professors’ role from being just “a tutor” to being “a team leader”, a person that prepares students for work and life in the business community.
